  The Reasons why I choose English as my subject of study

—Topic Sentence

  I have five reasons to choose English as my subject of study.

—Supporting 1

  First of all, I am interested in English because it is the essential language.

—Example (supporting 1)

—Most people understand English both spoken and written.

—Then, they make it to share opinions, offer things to buy or sell, and negotiate some rules or matters.

—Others use it to write letters, articles, and persuasions.

—Thus, I want to master those spoken or written skills as mentioned above. Hopefully, I can speak and write to people all over the world.

—Supporting 2

  Second, I am fond of English because of the language of sports.

—

—Example 2

—I like football. I always watch Indonesia league, England league, champion, and etc.

—As matter of fact, English is used there, to understand a commentator, order fair-play to the footballers, and manage the game of football.

—Consequently, if I recognize English well, I know all the rules of football game.

—Supporting 3

  Third, English is interesting to learn.

—Example 3

—The English alphabet is the same as Indonesia’s. However, it is differently spoken, for example, the word (a) is pronounced ‘e ‘and (b) is called ‘bi’. 

—The English grammar likes Indonesia grammar much. For instance, S + V + O (I drink a cup of milk) and (Saya minum segelas susu).

—As a result, It is excited to learn English due to the uniqueness of spoken alphabets and equivalent grammar.

—Supporting 4

  Fourth, I do like English since it is applied in technologies.

—Example 4

—I can understand how to operate a computer easily if I master English well.

—I can install the TV set step by step correctly  such as programming, changing the color and turning up and down the volume.

—Supporting 5

  Fifth, English is everywhere so, I enjoy learning it.

—Example 5

—English music can train my listening comprehension and spoken English.

—Facebook and email make me simple to gain the written English.

—Schools teach me all of the skills such as listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

—

Concluding

  In short, I choose English since it is necessary to every part of my life and I can get it everywhere easily.
